JXL/JXD series wedge clamp is suitable for insulating aluminum strand, aluminum strand, copper strand or steel-core aluminum strand in overhead distribution lines. The insulation cover and wire clip are suitable for matching, and play the role of insulation protection.
The wire clip is composed of wedge shell and wedge block. When installing the wire clip and wire, special installation tools (ejection gun or manual hydraulic pliers) should be used. The wedge is pressed in axial direction from the shell to form a constant clamping force between the wedge, the shell and the wire, thus ensuring a good connection performance of the wire clamp.
